On June 29, 2016, I had my tubes removed in order to ensure that all the pieces of Essure was removed from my body. This was my third procedure in three years to fix or remove Essure from my body.
On August 4, 2016, I had my follow-up with my GYN/Surgeon. As we talked she told me how she still feels that Essure is a GREAT birth control and that out of the 100's she has placed in I was maybe one of three that she removed. NOTE: SHE is not who placed my coils.
The entire time I nodded and smiled but inside I was screaming.
Why?
Since 2011, I have suffered. Mood swings, swelling, migraines, bladder leakage, breakouts, rashes, muscle pain, weight gain and more.
I lost partial function of the right side of my body. I have eye twitches.
Since June 29th, I have gone down TWO sizes in jeans WITHOUT exercise. I lost 15 pound without monitoring my intake. I am not having daily migraines that can put me down although I do still have them.
I also had a panel test which proved I am highly allergic to Nickel, Cobalt and Gold.
I still have many other symptoms but I pray in time they go away.
DON'T let anyone you love get ESSURE!

Time
Time ticks away... you don't have time to do what you want... you don't have time to do what you need... you just have time to do what you must...
Love your family and friends...

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO PREPARE EVERYONE FOR TRISTEN'S ARRIVAL
Rules of engagement for Tristen’s delivery:
1) I will send out a text message to family when headed to the hospital. There will be no special phone calls from me, if you get a call, it will be from Troy. We will TRY to put a post on Facebook. KEY word is TRY.
2) I only want one visitor at a time in the room before delivery. When it is time for me to give birth no one is allowed in the room.
3) PLEASE do not just show up to visit during laboring. I ask that you text or call first.
4) With that being said, PLEASE do not expect me to want to talk on the phone during laboring… it will really depend on how I feel.
5) The hospital WILL NOT be giving out personal updated information on my status. So, if you call and ask if the baby has been born… they will not tell you. WELL, they SHOULD not be telling you.
6) Once Tristen arrives, we will notify everyone as soon as we can. PLEASE no calls or text messages asking if he has arrived yet…
7) Once we are moved out of L&D and into our room, we will TRY to post the number to the room.
8) Visitors will be accepted. HOWEVER, I am asking that if you plan on visiting, you come between 8 am- 5pm. Or after 7pm. While in the hospital, 5-7 will be strictly family time.
9) PLEASE be prepared for 9,000 questions if you visit. You will be asked to wash your hands upon arrival.
10) PLEASE if you are a smoker do not smoke prior to coming to visit. Also, please do not be offended if asked to wear a gown or something to cover your clothes.
11) PLEASE do not visit if you are sick.
12) Children are welcome to visit, however if they are unruly or noisy… I will ask that they leave.
I know this is a lot and I may sound picky, but I have to look out for the welfare of our little man and family.
Love always…
